Driving lessons

Every student learns at their own pace. That's why our driving lessons are fully tailored to your experience and learning style. We focus on safe driving, clear instructions and building confidence behind the wheel. In addition, there is no waiting list, so you can start your driving lessons right away.

Driving lessons are provided in a modern Audi A1 with a manual transmission, offering a comfortable learning experience. Each lesson lasts 50 minutes and is scheduled in double sessions of 100 minutes, giving you plenty of time to practise and develop your driving skills.

We provide driving lessons in Alblasserdam, Barendrecht, Berkel en Rodenrijs, Capelle aan den IJssel, Dordrecht, Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht, Papendrecht, Ridderkerk, Rhoon-Portland, Rotterdam Centre, Rotterdam South, Schiedam, Vlaardingen, Zwijndrecht and the surrounding areas.

Thanks to this diverse service area, you'll gain experience in a wide variety of traffic situations, from busy city streets to quieter suburban and rural roads. This ensures you're well prepared for both your practical driving test and everyday driving.

My story

My name is Anthony Hayward. I have been working as a train driver for over 20 years, a profession where safety, responsibility, and quality are essential every day. Alongside my work on the railway, I have always had a passion for driving and for sharing my knowledge with others.

Teaching gives me great satisfaction. I enjoy helping people develop new skills and guiding them step by step towards becoming safe and independent drivers. My goal is not only to help students pass their driving test, but also to teach them how to become confident and responsible drivers for life.

That is why, alongside my part time job as a train driver, I also work as a driving instructor. The transition from first class on the railway to 1ste Klas Rijopleidingen felt like a natural step. The experience, discipline, and calm approach I have developed on the railway are qualities I bring to every driving lesson. Through personal guidance and clear instruction, I help every student gain the confidence they need to earn their driving licence.
